Demented Stallion / Casio Explorer / Fra Blokland Til Blokland: "Broken Hearts & Broken Minds Meet in the All-White Hospital & They Hug in Secret Silence Ignored by the Outside World"
3S3TA 5 / October 2007 / limited edition of 30 copies
A selection of Kristian Thomsen's numerous projects, in glorious mono (as the Crunchy Frogs would say). Demented Stallion = meditative dronecraft via guitar effects and feedback. Casio Explorer = lo-fi Ariel-Pink-meets-Martin-Rev darkwave, with vocals (yes, and a Casio keyboard). Fra Blokland Til Blokland = sinister, often minimal electronica - enchanting and in yr face.

/ Branta Ïx / The Inhibitionists:
"Appetite For Self Destruction"
3S3TA 3 / July 2006 / limited edition of 30 copies
After a two year hiatus, BSBTA's 3S3TA series returns with a three-way-split
between label founder Christian Kann's own musical projects. Veguitar's
"Svovlsyretrip" (a sulphuric acid trip!) is a collage
of off-kilter acoustic Danish-language songs (and effects). Branta
Ïx computes and rocks home, hinting at exciting things to come (which never did).
The Inhibitionists collaborate with collaborators and him/itself.
As if the music wasn't enough to get you excited (ahem), the cover
art is printed directly on abstract watercolour paintings, making
each cover unique.

Magic Tricks / The Cat Box Quartet / Exquisite Russian Brides: "A
Little Called Anything"
3S3TA 2 / March 2004 / limited edition of 33 copies
Sticking with the 3S3TA concept, the one thing that these five pieces
(from three different projects) have in common, is that Marc Kellaway
(also of Vinyl Dog Joy) is ring leader; nine other musicians - some
collaborating "live", others sampled - make cameo appearances
on the three-inch. From the ambient drone soundscape of "Wind
Piece" to the psycho-acoustic / experi-lectronic groovage of "Sleeping in Sweden", this release is a delicious little
bit of anything from an enjoyably prolific musician. This release is sold out.

H. Sötemann / cryptic scenery / The Organisation of Sound: "Music
For Museums"
3S3TA 1 / November 2003 / limited edition of
33 copies
The first in a series of three-way-split three-inch CDs is the concept
EP "Music For Museums" by Christian H. Sötemann and
his two other more or less well-known projects. In fact, the nine
recorded objects (all of which are instrumental) consist
only of CHS on guitar or keyboard (often being utilized in quite
unconventional ways) - with occassional added percussion. The titles
are wonderfully interpreted via the music: "Chinese Porcelain
Vase" is frail and sharp, "Dictator's Speech" is
mad and brooding, and "Megalith" is catchy and flanged! This release is sold out.
