Kowloon II "Cotton Candy Curtains"

cd-r, unnumbered
August 2008
1. I / 2. II / 3. III / 4.IV / 5. V / 6. VI / 7. VII

Formerly "known" simply as Kowloon, Kowloon II (the "II" is indeed pronounced "zwei") continues the "fucked up ad hoc music" rout(in)e - here, though, with minimal layering and editing. Unlike 2006's "Free Methodist" CD-R on BSBTA, these curtains were not sewn from real (cheap) keyboards, but were emulated through a regular PC keyboard - which, via special (free) software, did reproduce the sounds of the Mini Moog, ARP, and other vintage synths quite well. Comes in a handpainted cover, with handwritten notes on the inside (fake analogue music + non-digitally created visuals.)

Cherry Creepage / Nufenen "Split"

cd-r, unnumbered
June 2008
Cherry Creepage: 1. Sound 3 / 2. Sound 4 / 3. Sound 6 / 4. Sound 8

Nufenen: 5. Boar God Awakening / 6. Totentanz / 7. Sunshine Pus

In conjuction with their gig in Lugano, Switzerland on June 7th, 2008, we are releasing this special (unknown edition) split between Cherry Creepage (distorted, wacked out, ultra lo-fi drum machine-driven teenage breakdowns) and Nufenen (heavy, minimalist danse macabre rock 'n' roll). Each spraypainted cover is unique, by the way.

6majik9 "Black Sattva"

cd-r, 75 copies
February 2008
1. In Her Astral Audience / 2. The Gate is Triggered / 3. Sacramental Illness (Full Blown) / 4. The Congress of the Inanimate

Breathing sattvic fire while floating on a mystic lake of pseudo-jazz, everyone's favourite mostly anonymous Australian conspirators deliver the goods on their Scandinavian debut. Mellow and weird, this 4 track, 43-minute opus of percussive wyrld jamz, intricate improv, abrasive rawk and laid back lunacy is presented in a gatefold cover with hand painted/stamped abstract imagery inside.

Rough Ride of Crafts & Inhibitionists "Make Lovecraft Not Warcraft"

cd-r, unnumbered
August 2008
This time around, the focus is heavily centered on RRoC - specifically, the voice and songs of Jessy Kendall, joined on one track by Kelly Nesbitt (past releases on the Reverb Worship and l'Animaux Tryst labels.) Every No one's favourite Inhibitionists provide sounds and mixes that encompass acoustic oddity, keyboard drones and malfunctioning distortion.

The President's Heart "The End of the World"

cd-r, 65 copies
October 2007
1. End of the World Intro / 2. Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams / 3. The Black Fish / 4. En Rummelig Kasse / 5. Berlin/Metal / 6. End of the World Intermezzo / 7. Griggs Road / 8. Stick Boy / 9. Sonic Youth / 10. Even When (Pop Song) / 11. Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams (Slight Return) / 12. End of the World Song

Here, the mystical Danes of The President's Heart offer one last look into their left-field world of wonder. Dronetastic outdoor recordings are mixed with spoken word oddness, scrapheap percussion, psych-goth dreaminess (for you to wrap your troubles in), and mesmerizing melodic folk. An apocalyptic autumnal auralgasm; an art exhibit for your mind.

Inhibitionists & Rough Ride of Crafts "Wendigo in the Church of Merriment"

cd-r, 50 copies
August 2007

1. This Analogue Winter / 2. Silencers / 3. Moss Altar, Part I / 4. Ether Sunday / 5. I'll Be Your Auxiliary Boyfriend / 6. Bridget's Airways / 7. Cathedral of Laughs / 8. Look to New Hampshire / 9. The Hardened Baker Plummets / 10. Ellie / 11. Moss Altar, Part II / 12. Hardly Hazel / 13. Decorate the Edges / 14. March of the Wendigo/Sleepy Seeds

The once-again-solo Inhibitionists outfit spent roughly a year in long distance collaboration with the Rough Ride of Crafts collective, resulting in a spooky, offbeat mish mash of lo-fi noise, stoner electronics, tape collages, pseudo hip hop and acid folk-fueled semi-songs.

Vlubä "7op"

cd-r, 75 copies
August 2007

1. In (Tangerine Tree) / 2. Frankeinstein/ Diedushka Damavoi / 3. Heliosphera / 4. 7op (Space & Time Machine) / 5. Air Guitar Jam (Empty Bee & Dude Tube) / 6. Magnetosphera... Out / 7. Wurmple On/Off (aka "Dopecore")

New far out exaltations from this Buenos-Aires-by-way-of-the-Moon cult combo. ”7op” is about shamanistic space-rock jams and flanged free psychedelia, garnished with savage drumming and noisy toys. It all comes packaged in an elaborate fake fur clad cover (with apologies to Efterklang) in a poly bag.

Die Stadt Der Romantische Punk "The Guitar E.P."

cd-r, 50 copies
April 2007

1. Tu parles, les autres noies / 2. Grange en flames Pt. 1 / 3. Grange en flames Pt. 2 / 4.Grange en flames Pt. 3 / 5. The Sea Vision

"The Guitar E.P." is, in the label's opinion, a 31-minute album. An album of minimalist beauty, explosive rumbling noises and tripped out basement aesthetics, brought on by, yes, effect-laden guitars (+ bits of sweet violin).

This 45 minute trip through Stormhat's garden of earthly delights presents pre-dream dreamscapes channelling avant-composition, utilizing field recordings, mysterious percussion, and a laptop (do not be afraid.) Rough and forboding, calm and meditative, in all its intricate beauty.
