"don't quit your holiday job" (sunshine twee, pop, lo-fi electro, bossa pop, northern soul, c86, cuddlecore, pop, british invasion garage, acoustic bedroom pop, etc.) compilation seeking contributors

we're going to put a triple cd-r compilation featuring pop bands (yes, "bands" also means "solo projects") from all over the world.

and we'd love for you to submit one or two songs - whichever you want - for this hopefully massive cd-r set. if you can submit an exclusive (not-planned-for-release-any-time-soon) track or two, that would be great... but not crucial.

how to send music:

- upload a "cd quality" .mp3s or .wav files to, for example, sendspace.com, and send the link to bsbta at bsbta dot com

- or, e-mail bsbta at bsbta dot com for a mailing address to send a cd-r to. (our label is based in denmark... europe.)

if absolutely necessary, we will adjust the volume levels (if they're way too loud or way too quiet) and "clean up" annoying pops/clicks in submitted tracks. otherwise, no extreme mastering will be done by w-o-h!.


legal shizzle:

every contributing band member will receive a copy (or maybe two) of the finished compilation.

each band keeps the rights to its composition(s), and are of course allowed to release or upload their song(s) elsewhere. (if you can wait a few months 'til after the compilation has been released, we'd appreciate it. we do want to sell copies to break even, but most importantly, we want to help people hear your music, and, in some form, document the international underground pop scene, circa now.)
